Are you a literary student? Have you ever been degraded for being worthless and worthless? Or wake up at two in the morning and lament your youth and ignorance? When your youth shouted that there was a dream to break in, choose the Wen Group Since the wood has become a boat, why not try to give it a go, so that the Wen Group is no longer the “black word” (code) of the failed group!

Are you a literary student? Are you from a liberal arts background? Is a lucrative career really your dream?

When interviewing Aileen Huang from Reanda Taiwan, she shared stories of her study group during her time at Takming University of Science and Technology. They imagined themselves as the Little Prince and the Fox. Their daydreams were pure and sincere, and they were so immersed in them that they willingly sacrificed their future interests. At the time, they had nothing, yet they felt like they had everything. That’s the charm of the liberal arts, isn’t it?

She kept wondering if there was such a thing as a “liberal arts golden rice bowl.” Did majoring in accounting at Takming University of Science and Technology truly foretell a life of hard work? She remembered that night when his mother called, and she seemed to be worried that the road ahead would be thorny and challenging, so she covered his face and closed his eyes, fearing that tears might flow uncontrollably, overwhelmed by the fear of the future. He tried to break down the enthusiasm and talent hidden within his “personality,” turning the fanciful “audit reports” and “tax management” into his daily bread. She juggled studying and interning, shuttling through the bustling streets and alleys, navigating the towering skyscrapers. All to embrace the daily grind of the “accountant life.”

Only by investing in himself could he see a different world

As she prepared to leave school and enter the office, she recalled the various demands of his clients, including handling business tax accounting, applying for second-generation health insurance details, purchasing two months’ worth of invoices, and providing temporary financial statements to clients. She even had to field questions from the company (clients) about accounting-related issues. At times, she would silently contemplate his life’s purpose but he knew that only by investing in herself could she see a different world.

She imagined that ten years from now, she would become a renowned accountant. In her personal office, there would be a plaque bearing the inscription of the “Dreams Come to Life.” Choosing liberal arts seemed never to have led him to failure. As she stepped out of the Huashi Building in Da’an District under the night sky, she saw the lights, the bustling shops, and the crowded streets. There was laughter, banter, and the playful chatter of youth in the air. Did they, like him, also have a goal they pursued with all their might? She firmly believed that no one would ever get hurt by chasing their dreams. When someone genuinely and wholeheartedly desires something, the entire universe lends its power.

My charm lies in the ability to create myself, to draw endless strength

Is it challenging to be moved by a liberal arts accounting life story? We can always find the courage to rise above liberal arts because at some point in his past, she had this realization. By expressing her personal aspirations and thoughts, he seeks to subvert stereotypes. For you, it might be a chance to rewrite your own story. If you don’t end your life dream where you think it should, that’s an unfortunate outcome. Her blackboard script for a liberal arts accounting life is “steering dreams,” and the appeal of “liberal arts” has always been enlightenment of the mind. Although, she goes to the office every day, taking her one step closer to her next goal. Only by seeing different landscapes can she draw endless strength.

Just as the writer Wu Ruoquan wrote in “Transformation and Deepening”: “Deepening is just one means of creating oneself, but creating oneself is the only purpose of deepening.” “He firmly believes in it and has never failed!” A decade later, even if social media posts show late-night overtime, when he looks at those well-lit rooms, the real-life achievements and the numbers on the financial statements, he is without regret. The figures in the accounts, real-world achievements, watching the lights burn late into the night — they all help him become a better version of himself.
